Meeting between the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus and the leadership of the Georgian Technical University

On 25 February 2026, Nikolai Rogaschuk, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Georgia, met David Gurgenidze, the Rector of the Georgian Technical University.

During the meeting, Ambassador Rogaschuk outlined the main areas of cooperation with the university, including student exchanges, internship opportunities, and professional development programmes for teaching staff.

He also discussed the creation of joint research projects and a number of other educational projects. 
The leadership of the Georgian Technical University expressed interest in establishing direct contacts with Belarusian universities. The importance of further developing dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation was emphasised. 

The interlocutors expressed their readiness to continue constructive interaction.
