On holding a reception in honor of Victory Day

In honor of the sacred holiday – Victory Day – the diplomatic missions of Belarus and Russia held a joint ceremony, uniting generations in an atmosphere of memory, gratitude, and deep respect for the heroism of the Great Patriotic war heroes.

This celebration was organized primarily in honor of our beloved veterans—people of unwavering spirit, courage, and selflessness, thanks to whom Victory was won and peace was preserved for future generations. Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Georgia N.M. Rogaschuk and Head of the Russian Federation Interests Section at the Embassy of Switzerland in Georgia D.A. Olisov addressed the event participants. Sincere words of gratitude were expressed to the veterans for their heroism, fortitude, and love for their homeland.

The event was attended by leaders and representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia, the leadership of veterans' associations, representatives of the Belarusian and Russian diaspora, and public figures.

A small concert was held in a warm, festive atmosphere, featuring poems and songs from the war years, and commemorative gifts were presented.
