On the 7th meeting of the Belarusian-Georgian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation
17.03.2026On March 17, 2026, the 7th meeting of the Belarusian-Georgian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation was held in Tbilisi, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Yuri Shuleiko and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Mariam Kvrivishvili.

During the negotiations, a wide range of issues on the bilateral and international agenda was considered. The parties reviewed the results of joint work over recent years, discussed prospects and priority areas for further development of economic cooperation, including such sectors as agriculture, healthcare, education, science, and other areas of cooperation.

Within the framework of the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission, Heads of delegation of Belarusian ministries and organizations held bilateral meetings with Heads of relevant organizations of Georgia. A constructive exchange of views took place on current projects, and priorities for further cooperation were identified.

Following the negotiations, the Protocol of the Belarusian-Georgian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation was signed, as well as an Agreement on Cooperation between the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (Minsk) and the Technical State University (Tbilisi).
