On the meeting of the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Georgia with a Representative of the Parliament of Georgia

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Georgia Nikolai Rogashchuk met with Chairman of the Committee on Regional Policy and Local Self-Government of the Parliament of Georgia, Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Parliament of the Republic of Belarus Irakli Kadagishvili.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the resumption of interparliamentary engagement, including the revitalization of areas of mutual interest, as well as ways to develop mutually beneficial cooperation between the Parliamentary Friendship Groups of the two States.

The sides underscored the importance of interaction among parliamentarians in strengthening mutual understanding between the peoples. Strengthening working contacts between the legislative bodies of the Republic of Belarus and Georgia was the subject of agreements that were reached.
