26.05.2026
On May 26, 2026, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Georgia N.M. Rogaschuk took part in the celebrations on the occasion of Georgia’s Independence Day.
The official part of the celebration began with a military parade on Freedom Square in Tbilisi and the oath-taking ceremony. This year, it was the largest ever: conscripts took the oath not only in the capital but also in 12 regions of the country – at ancient christian churches and monasteries. The concept of the holiday is formulated as follows: «For 1,700 years, faith has strengthened us, love has united us.»
