Meeting of Ambassador Rogaschuk N.M. at the Ministry of Sports of Georgia

On September 14, 2026, a meeting between Ambassador of Belarus Nikolai Rogaschuk and Minister of Sports of Georgia Shalva Gogoladze was held at the Ministry of Sports of Georgia. The meeting was also attended by First Deputy Minister Irakli Medzmariashvili and A.S. Gagiyev, Director of the Raubichi Republican Olympic Training Center for Winter Sports.

The meeting focused on current issues and prospects for developing cooperation between Belarus and Georgia in the field of physical culture and sports. The parties discussed the participation of athletes from the two countries in international sporting events, tournaments and competitions, and exchanged views on further development of sports ties.

Particular attention was paid to strengthening cooperation between the relevant government authorities of Belarus and Georgia, expanding contacts and identifying promising areas of cooperation in the sports sector. In particular, the parties discussed arrangements for training camps for the Belarusian national biathlon team, as well as bilateral cooperation in a number of other winter sports.
