Ambassador of Belarus to Georgia attends International Conference

On October 2, 2026, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Georgia Nikolai Rogaschuk took part in the international conference “Fundamentals of European Civilization – 1700 Years of Christianity in Georgia”.

The event was timed to coincide with the 1700th anniversary of the declaration of Christianity as the state religion in Georgia. Welcoming remarks were delivered by Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili, and Catholicos-Patriarch Shio III of All Georgia.

Foreign parliamentary delegations, including the parliamentary delegation of the Republic of Belarus, took part in the conference.
