On the Meeting of the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus with Giorgi Tabatadze, Director of the Directorate for Consular Affairs, International Law and Diaspora Issues

On June 25, 2026, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Georgia, Nikolai Rogashchuk, held a working meeting with Giorgi Tabatadze, Director of the Directorate for Consular Affairs, International Law and Diaspora Issues.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues related to consular activities and the bilateral legal and treaty framework. Special attention was paid to developing mechanisms for the provision of prompt assistance and consular and legal protection for citizens of the two states.

The participants exchanged views on the further development of consular cooperation and discussed possible ways to enhance the effectiveness of their work and introduce modern approaches to the provision of consular assistance. Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their readiness to continue a constructive dialogue and joint efforts aimed at addressing current challenges.
