Ambassador of Belarus to Georgia N.Rogaschuk meets Head of the Administration of the Government of Georgia

On August 17, 2026, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Georgia Nikolai Rogaschuk met with Platon Kalmakhelidze, State Representative to the Kakheti region of Georgia.

The participants discussed current issues related to the development of Belarusian-Georgian interregional cooperation, with a particular focus on strengthening partnership ties between the Minsk Region and the Kakheti region.

The prospects for organizing reciprocal visits by delegations from regions of Belarus and Georgia were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation and the implementation of joint initiatives in the fields of culture, education, sports, and tourism.

Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening cooperation between the Minsk Region and Kakheti and in implementing specific measures to advance interregional cooperation.
