Ambassador of Belarus to Georgia participates in events during the visit of the Minsk region delegation to Kakheti

On October 7–8, 2026, a delegation of the Minsk Region headed by Chairman of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee Alexey Kushnarenko is visiting the Kakheti Region.

On October 7, 2026, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Georgia Nikolai Rogaschuk took part in talks between the Belarusian delegation and representatives of Georgian business circles.

The talks focused on the development of cooperation in agriculture, the promotion of Belarusian exports, the establishment of new business contacts, the expansion of cooperation between economic entities of the two countries, and the advancement of mutually beneficial joint initiatives.

On October 8, 2026, the Belarusian delegation, together with the Head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission, held a meeting with State Representative in the Kakheti Region Platon Kalmakhelidze.

The parties discussed prospects for the further development of cooperation between the Minsk Region and the Kakheti Region, the intensification of direct interregional contacts, as well as the expansion of practical cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

The parties expressed their readiness to facilitate the implementation of concrete projects and agreements within the framework of interregional cooperation.

Following the meeting, a Roadmap to the Agreement on Cooperation between the Minsk Region of the Republic of Belarus and the Kakheti Region of Georgia was signed.
